AMOT became a member of ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability) in January 2026. In addition to gaining continuous access to policy tools, urban case studies, and research outcomes compiled by ICLEI from around the world, this membership also helps gradually establish opportunities for engagement with official international city institutions. Through this membership, our team is able to leverage the following organizational advantages:
◆Rapid access to systematic research on international urban net-zero carbon development experiences, enabling the identification of applicable or innovative models for reference.
◆Access to resources from the Asian regional office to organize or co-host international forums on dedicated thematic issues.
◆The ability to integrate Taiwan’s experience and corporate networks into side events of United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP), facilitating international presentations and building a track record and influence within COP and global NGO communities.
